Hey Everybody!

This thursday - 5th November - we'll be taking over Rush as usual with our beautiful snow
club members...
However this week we'll be having a joint social with Napier University Snowsports Club,
our fellow east coasters!

The night will inevitably involve some friendly inter uni competition in the form of boat races,
and if el presidente has anything to do with it... mega dance offs! :)

It's a really good way to get to know a few faces before the madness that is SUDS decends,
to get the competition started a little early and also to widen the gene pool a little...!?

We would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see first timers, part timers, full timers and over timers
down at the Pub to show Napier what EUSSC socials are all about!
You'll also be able to get your hands on tickets for the SUDS social on Saturday night,
not to be missed!

Catch all you down the pub...! Waaaaaaay!

So SUDS is finally here!!

That means not only will we be heading up on wednesday for a shred but also if you guys want
to go up on bonfire night for a quick ride before the pub then send me an email and i'll sort out lifts. 
Awesome view of ALL the fireworks in Edinburgh and of Arthurs seat on fire because lets face it
all you freshers light it every year (I hear eggs tied to a rocket can make that happen - acording to
an old scottish tripper...)

As usual if you want to find out more, have a ride or just chill out then as soon as you head to
Hillend go to the jump - you'll see it and we'll be at the top!!

Ok guys, we've now fully sold out the Christmas Trip but do not worry if we can get enough extra
of you keen beens we can get a new coach coming along and set a new EUSSC holiday record!!

If your up for it, and I've no idea why you wouldn't be here is what you have to do ...
you can book on as normal, pay £90 deposit and while it will say you are down as a reserve
list when there are enough reserve people we can confirm the extra coach and everything will
be as normal (I'll let you know when this happens!!).

If for any reason we can't fill the extra coach you will be fully reimbursed the £90.

Lucy are I are more than confident we can fill it as we have around 30 people already
showing a strong interest. For those of you who have booked on already if you need to
change any of your options like pick up points, ski hire etc you can log onto the offthepiste
website and change anything you need to up until the 4th December.

Our Xmas tripper bonding social is scheduled for Thursday 26th November -
so get it in your diaries - it's a fantastic opportunity to get to know all the people that you will
be shredding/lashing/hooking up with!
We'll give you rmore information on the social in the next couple of weeks!

Xmas trip is getting closer by the second, so if your keen on getting the best
gear on the planet, head down quick to the lockup (by the pleasance, right outside the
gym) at 7 and we´ll sort you out!

Rental costs £40 for the week, you'll also have to pay
£10 carrying fee on your holiday booking form.. but you'll still save £15 which could buy
you a lot of cheap french supermarket beer and wine!

If you haven't heard about SUDS yet - one and all, gurd your loins!
The Scottish Universities Dryslopes Championships is about so so much more than representing
EUSSC in the GS, Individual/Team Duals, Big Air and Slopestyle.
It's about representing EUSSC in LE APRES-SKI! Oui, Oui Oui.

This year - the wonderful guys on organising SUDS (woop for the SUSC committee!)
have not only organised a day of slopeside banter with fun for everybody from comptetitors,
to helpers to spectators... but they've only gone and organised a flippin' ceilidh too!
Whether you're offensively Scottish (strip that mo-fo willow) or you've never graced a ceilidh -
GO NUTS!

Date: Saturday 7th Novemeber baby!
Time: 8pm - kicking off (the stilettos) at 9pm
Place: Cargo - followed by Bacaro
Extras: Buffet (for those who refute the "eating is cheating" rule) and sweet drinks deals all night.
The ALL IMPORTANT theme: Snowsports with a dash of Black tie! (get out your faces on neon,
ballgowns and boarding boots, ski pants and bow ties... EUSSC was born for this theme)

This is our city and as the hosts EUSSC would love to see as many people getting involved in
any way shape or form to keep up our reputation as being the raddest snow sports
club... pretty much ever! :)
