Hey sexy people!

Even though the lessons are all coming to an end soon (boo) there's a few bits and bobs
to tell you all this week so keep reading to see if any of it applies to you!!

SKI BOARD IN A DAY (levels 3 & 4)

First of all would like to say a massive thanks again to all that came on the learn to
ski/board in a day! :) A few of you have spoken to me about doing levels four and five
before christmas...this COULD happen but in order to get the reduced prices we'd need a
minimum of 6 skiers and 5 boarders.  SO...if you're 100% game for it give me a shout and
if enough of you are keen I'll try to arrange a trip through in the next few weeks!

If we don't get the numbers but you still really want to do it you can organise it
through Snozone yourselves - the only downside is that the price would go up to £75 for
the three hours (which still isn't too too bad considering an hour's private lesson there
is £150 - OOFT!)  So if you're keen let me know asap and I'll do my best to sort
something out!


WEDNESDAY LESSONS

Sadly this week is the last week of the Wednesday lessons but hopefully you're all
ripping up the slope like pro's by now!  Just to say if any of you haven't payed the
whole price for the block yet I will be down at the bus on Wednesday so if you could
bring down what you owe that would be suhweeeeeeet!  Merci buckets!

Apres-Ski just got serious...

If you fancy yourself as a bit of an EUSSC legend, the title is officially up for grabs... oh yeah, and some VIP tickets to T in the Park 2010...

CLAIM is EUSSC's competitive social, giving teams the chance to prove that they might not be able to pull cab-7s but they can kick ass in apres ski...

Here's how the night will roll...

1. Get into teams of 4 - AT LEAST ONE GIRL (If you don't have a full team we'll try to put people together on the night)

THEME.... "TEAM" come as four of something, anythng, whatever you like...

2. Pay a teeny entry fee of £2 per person - give us your team name and we'll give you a limited edition T-Shirt

3. We'll set you off at 5 minute intervals with a task card, this will detail what you will be expected to do/where to go/what to find before making your way as fast as possible back to Rush.

4. We'll check you did everything you were meant to, take a note of your finish time and wait for the other teams to get back.

5. The top 3 teams will CLAIM our awesome prizes, as well as the FIRST EVER medals for EUSSC apres ski brilliance!

FIRST PRIZE: Each team member will win a VIP ticket to T in the Park 2010 - boom!
SECOND & THIRD PRIZE: Each team member will win a medal and some sweet freebies to boot - maybe even a date with Hugo.

BOOBY PRIZES:

There will also of course be a prize for the BEST COSTUMES and for the person who creates the most SCANDAL... so get in it to win it people!

Here's some tips...

1. Choose a girl who you can carry/be carried by
2. Wear trainers - always
3. You've got to be able to run in your costumes - simples
4. Be aggressive, be, be, aggressive.

At the end of the night - we will party on down at Cabaret Voltaire where we will most likely consume some jaegerbombs and wake up trying remember his/her names... and trying to piece together what was/is going to be...

square at 5, be there or don't be a square!

Also if you want to enter SUDS (check out the internet - namely this website's competitions page) then you'll need to get me your details (name, matric, dob) and your deposit - so you turn up, by thursday!

I will be in Potterow between 1 and 2 on Monday and Tuesday to collect deposits (or the full payment if you want have it!) so if you can try to get down for then that would be AMAAAAAZING!  If you really can't make it you can just bring your money on Wednesday (cheques are preferable - written out to 'EUSSC' but if you can't do that then cash will do the job!)

I'll be wearing a ski club hoody (bright blue with yellow writing on the front) so shouldn't be hard to miss!

 ***LEARN TO SKI OR BOARD IN A DAY SHMANTER***

Yes that's right - EUSSC are giving you the chance to become a ski/board MACHINE in one day!!!  MADNESS!

Baaaaasically(depending on numbers) we all jump on a bus/in cars and have a trip through to the indoor slope in Glasgow where you'll get an afternoons worth of lessons on REAL SNOW!  Hell YES!

It's a really good way to learn a lot in a short space of time and gives you a chance to kick start your skiing/boarding if you wern't able to commit to the block of six lessons on a Wednesday!  As if that's not persuasion enough there is a bar there too where you can chill out with a nice cold beer/whatever tickles your fancy afterwards to get you into the apres ski way of life which you will most definately experience if you book on to one of the trips this year!

The total price of the trip is £50 which may sound like a lot but it really is a fast-track to learning and has always been popular in previous years so is definately worth while!

If that's not enough persuasion I am planning on joining in with the boarding lesson so if you haven't been tempted already then come along for the sheer entertainment of witnessing me eat snow for 3 hours!

It is set to go ahead on ***Wednesday the 28th of October***, leaving George Square at 1pm.  I know some of you will have lectures but if anything is worth missing them for it's this!

Tickets for BUDS have now gone, but you can still get tickets for SUDS (On November 7th) till Thursday, which are £5 and involve a ceilidh and buffet (well worth £5!)
