BUSC

The Seven Steps to sun and snow

Hello everyone.

I'm going to book BUSC for myself right now and explain every detail on how to do it so
that you end up getting on the right bus going to the right resort with the right people
so pay attention please.

1. Go to www.buscevents.com and follow the link to the booking page

2. Select Edinburgh from the drop down list

3. Login or register for the whole trip. Every year I forget my password so make it
simple.

4. Now you have three (3) options.

FIRST OPTION - Warm up week only - this is the first week of the entire two week trip. It
is much smaller in population of students but provides you with exactly that, clubs that
are easier to get into and lift lines that are non-existent. If you choose this option
you need to make your way down to London Victoria station for the departure

SECOND OPTION - Main week - where the small resort is over run with students having the
time of their life. It's thick with competitions ranging from all three events for racers
(ski and snowboard), big air, Slopestyle and board/skier cross. Parties with big name
DJ's and nightclubs with hundreds of sweaty sexy bodies. this is what BUSC is best known
for!

THIRD OPTION - Two Weekers - where you sign the remainder of you bank balance over to the
entire two week trip. you get the best of both worlds. A relaxing ski holiday for the
first week where you get to know loads of students from universities all over Britain,
then the second week you get to run around with the rest of Edinburgh but you know the
best clubs and the guys on the door, you know the bar staff the bar staff and if you're
good know you. This has always been my choice. If you choose this option you need to make
your way down to London Victoria station for the departure.

5. Option selection time:
INSURANCE - here you need to decide in advance how risky you are going to be, if you're
determined to try that new trick then go for gold, if you just want to have fun in the
sun Bronze provides you with the very basic requirements.

TRANSPORT - here we get sqrewed as always, if you leave from Edinburgh you need to pay
£20 more, if you think you're going to london before you can get a bus from there but a
warning, you will be on that bus the entire drive there and back.

ACCOMMODATION - pretty simple, self catered or bring a tent!

LESSONS - if you want to progress your style, then go ahead and book em, but if you miss
them you're fault. I've seen guys progress from can't stand to riding pow with a smile in
a week.

HIRE - you can get it from EUSSC if you want it cheaper, but you are
responsible for it's safety. If you take it from BUSC you're still responsible, but you
get it at resort and leave it there.

NEXT OF KIN - here's where you put down the most responsible parent you've got, I put my
brother

CLOTHING - you can buy it now, or at resort. I'm going to send out a separate E-mail
trying to figure out if we want our own design. I'm also looking into Hats for Edinburgh.
I felt a bit left out last year now wearing something with bright colors, until I put on
my ski suit.

BUSC BALL - it's at the end of the trip so if you're sick of cooking Spag Bol, be my
guest.

FINAL NIGHT PARTY - if you book before new year, it's free. If not it's usually £15. A
riot always.

6. check that is what you want.

7. Pay and get ready for a wild week(s)!!

SCOTTISH Trips- We're getting the white stuff!

Its Dumping!

Very good news for the Scottish season as its been snowing like a mofo. We were at
cairngorm today and the snow is fantastic! many runs filling in very nicely. But
unfortunately they arent planning to open any lifts mid week (probably a good thing in
terms of uni and exams)

So stay tuned and hopefully as exams come to an end we can celebrate by sorting out some
sort of transport and get up there for some sicktacular shredtastic times

Scandal

What's really scandalous right now is that this reporter has heard absolutely NO NEWS from you little snow bunnies over the past week, other than the fact that Tom and Torty are pretty much engaged (we're starting to look at wedding outfits). So to stop this happening ever again, make sure you send in all your friends' indiscretions and shenanigans to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You know you love us, xoxo
